    The College Central Library was established in 1991. This year, the Manual Work- Books, Journals and Reference Books have been fully computerized. The Bar Code Reader was introduced, so that the students and staff can access the collection and service using Library Management Software Mastersoft ERP version 2.0.1, an open access ILMS with comprehensive functionality including basic and advanced search options has made lending and referring the books easy.

    The College also subscribes for the major Online Journals by Computers with Internet Connectivity that helps the students and the faculty members to access the e- resources to update their subject knowledge.

    • To be a Central Hub for the students and faculty members. They can utilize the resources for their Research activities and also towards accessing information to gain knowledge.

    MISION
    • Central Library shall function as the knowledge hub which offers collection in various disciplines. The Central Library will enhance the readers to excellence for a lifelong learning. The students and faculty members can utilize our library features in order to update their knowledge and to become a great citizen of our country.

    LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS

      1. The Library is open on all working days between 8.45 A.M. to 4.00 P.M.

      2. Entry is permitted with ID card only.

      3. Membership is open to all staff and students of Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science.

      4. Every student will be issued 2 books for a period of 15 days.

      5. Students must Record their Name and Address Details in the Library Card.

      6. One renewal will be permitted for which the Book has to be presented personally to the Librarian.

      7. Books will be issued only on the producing of the Library Card.

      8. The visitors who are entering the Central Library must scan college ID card to check in and check out. In case of any problem, it should be taken to the notice of the Librarian.

      9. Mobile Phones must be kept switched off while accessing at the Library.

      10. Silence should be maintained in the Library.

      11. The Visitors are not allowed to carry their Books, Bags etc. inside the Library.

      12. Library and its premises shall always be under CCTV Surveillance.

      13. Members are advised to return / renew the books on or before the due date marked on the book.

      14. A Fine will be charged for one book until the book is replaced or returned at Rs. 1.00/- per day, after the due date.

      15. Am fine of Rs.50/- will be levied if the Library Card goes missing.

      16. In case of any loss of Books, the borrower should report to the Librarian immediately and the book should be replaced with a new copy.
